For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 51 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 51 | Three years in the making, 1950 Chevy 1 ton panel truck, stock 216 motor, I tried to keep everything as original as I could which was very difficult. I found parts all over the country like the gas tank in Alaska, as you may know parts for a one ton panel are not that easy to come by. Thanks to the stove bolters for all your help. The following link shows pics. My grandfather had one as a plumbing truck in the 50's http://s374.photobucket.com/user/Terrance_Davidson/library/

I knew some of the fellows who had been in the trade as far back as the thirties. These were the trucks for us before the 69 Ford Econolines then the higher capacity Dodges and Chevys a year or two later. No style.
Nice truck.
