Strange question, its not important, but I'd like to replace the pipe bumper on my 51 with an OEM style, and sometimes like to lower the gate to make shoveling or loading/ unloading easier. I know, your not supposed to haul sand, stone and scrap with a vintage truck, but I like to use my stuff! My first bolt, '52 3100, was use for hauling tree limbs and mulch for 2 years until I upgraded to a '69 long bed. Worked just fine.

I'm happier driving an old truck and the conversations you can get into when you actually are using one for its intended purpose are great!
