I had a question in regards to compatibility between my motor and truck. I have a 194 off of of 62-63 Nova in my 1951 Chevy 3100. I was wondering if anyone has a similar setup. My concern is that the engine is too small for this truck. Is this set up ok? Should I upgrade motors? Your opinion is appreciated.

The 235 had 92. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,229 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,229 | If decide you don't like the power output, a 230 or 250 will be a direct bolt in swap. A 292 will also fit the same area with a few modifications to the side motor mounts.
My 250 has 120 hp at flywheel and about 100 hp at the ground. It will move my 3300 lb truck easy enough.
