Well I finally got it all one color and ready to go! You can see some pictures added to my photobucket. I don't know why some look greener than others, but the blue turquoise is the color. Click on my photobucket library below and scroll down for latest pictures.
Thanks to all that helped me along the way, especially the brakes. What a $1200 nightmare that was!!
It is for sale too, I'm done tired of it.....Not a show truck, but an all original truck ready to work.

Nice job. I just brought a '54 630 from Alabama, home. Is it a 302 engine w/ 540 trans?

'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

Great looking truck! A LOT OF WORK!! It's WEIRD,that after you get the project completed, you get tired of it! Same thing with "'Tater"! Got rid of "Him",just in the nick of time!! "He" developed a rod knock,2 blocks from where I had it parked! Pulled the pan,for the new owner, and the 261's rod bearing end caps all look good-none dis-colored/excessive play! Cam bearing?? Not getting oil to the head, either. Shows 40# oil pressure?? Somebody else's problem, now!

It takes an awful big dog to weigh a ton.
