I need to have several of these older top load transmissions rebuilt. Can someone suggest or refer me to a person who is experienced in working on these transmissions?
Thanks in advance

I am fine with shipping the transmission to the correct guy who knows what he is doing and has the parts available.

What year is your transmission?
1937-39 used different gears than 1940-46.
I will also PM you.

The rebuild is rather simple its the parts that are the PIA to get depending on what you need. Bearing kits are available, sliders and gear are getting very pricey

Gears are on eBay quite regularly. The synchronizers are really getting scarce. When you buy new bearings, make sure you measure the width of the snap rings. A lot of them are thicker than original and will cause the whole thing to bind.

Call Tourist Transmissions in Salt Lake City. Brent, the owner, has been in business for 52 years and specializes in older transmissions.
