I havent pulled my cab off yet but I plan on it in the next couple of weeks.

I've noticed some pieces of folded over rubber between some cab mounts and some pieces of wood.

does this kit on ebay look right for cab mounting hardware? or does this have a bunch of extra things i wouldnt need for a 2-ton?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1939-1940-1...19257901?hash=item419dbc9c2d&vxp=mtr

does anyone use some sort of rubber instead of wood or is wood still the best option?

That kit looks correct, but do you need all that hardware? Before ordering that expensive item, see if you can reuse the existing hardware. I think the original cushioning material is a heavy rubberized fabric of some sort. You might be able to find a replacement material or reuse what is there.

i believe i have all the hardware, i'll look for a kit that just has the rubber then, if i dont break all the bolts taking them apart!! Thanks for the reply! I'll be taking my cab off probably this weekend so I'll know if my cab bolts and hardware are any good, taking the fenders and runningboards off i ended up breaking or having to torch off most of the fastners!!
