For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 33 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 33 | Does anyone know where to get a replacement sending unit float that attaches with a wire at the end of the float? All I can find in the old truck parts catalogue or on-line is the kind that has a recessed groove around the float that attaches by a wire loop. Came out of a '53 GMC. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 Ex Hall Monitor | | Ex Hall Monitor Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 | If it's a cork float maybe a fishing supply store?? You might have to modify it a tad.

So long story short, no you can't display a picture here with your post. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 Ex Hall Monitor | | Ex Hall Monitor Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,377 | If you're going to pick nits that's an issue you'll have to live with. Click the link at the bottom left and you'll see why. A hyperlink is just as good as am embedded image if not better. If you still have an issue with the policy you'll have to take it up with the site owners. If you want to get the chip off of your shoulder there's likely a solution to your problem.
