I assume you lock it from the inside, but mine has no hardware to do it. How is it supposed to be? Thanks - scott

That way you couldn't throw your door open into traffic, or get run over by a horse and carriage. So a lock on the drivers side didn't make sense, and leaving it off saved money.

| | | | | Joined: Oct 2000 Posts: 804 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2000 Posts: 804 | Though I never did it and I now are changing to "bear claw" type latches, I figured out a way to make the left door accept a lock. If you get one of the latches in your hands you can see that the part that "accepts" the lock cylinder actuator rod is there. The problem is it doesn't have a hole in it. I was going to pull the latch apart and make the hole in that piece and them mount a lock cylinder in the door, viola, outside locking drivers door.
