There is lots of guys here who can help you out but "technical" questions should go in the most appropriate garage forum for best results. Your question would fit nicely in the Driveline Forum.
I'd move this post to the Driveline Forum but I'll leave it here in the Welcome Centre So folks can read about new members. Although we don't like "double posting" feel free to ask your question in the Driveline Forum since this it the welcome center.

...and what a story, owning your truck for 28 years. Post us up a picture or two when you can and watch for other bolters from your area. I know there are some here from Az.
