REGARDING SIDEMOUNTED SPARE TIRE BRACKET, I AM SEEKING MOUNTING INFORMATION. I HAVE THE ASSEMBLE MANUAL BUT WOULD LIKE TO CONFIRM THE DEMENSION FROM THE STAKE POCKET TO THE FIRST ANGLE SUPPORT. DOES ANYONE HAVE ONE OR A PHOTO; HATE TO DRILL INCORRECTLY. THERE IS CONFLICTING INFORMATION IN THE MANUAL.

Mine is a 3/4-ton (3604) and 4.63" is called out in the FAM, but
for what it's worth, I get right around 4" from the back side
of the front pocket to the front side of the first vertical
angle. My spare fits fine.

The call out for the 1/2-ton (3104) would be 2.88".

On my 1/2 ton 54 I have 2 3/16" from the back of the stake pocket to the inside flat of the first support. My 6.50 x 16 fits fine. Tom
