I have changed to a key start from Classic Parts.
Everything works fine except the Air-Flow heater motor and control. The motor runs and the control lights up and works fine on accessories but does not work at all when the engine is running.
Any ideas? I can't imagine why this would be.Should the accessories terminal be hot when the engine is running? The key is in the same position either way.

I think you have asked the correct question: "Should the accessories terminal be hot when the engine is running?"
This is not clear: "The key is in the same position either way."
Nonetheless, switches behave differently, and you will have to check yours out.
Do you have a volt-meter and/or continuity tester?

I have run continuity tests and checked grounds. I just found the control has a "B" on one terminal that the PO had connected to the motor rather than the "battery". That may be the problem.
