There are two holes at the top of the rear of the frame. I need to know which one is the rear bed bolt hole. My measurement to put the new fourlink crossmember in comes off the rear bed bolt hole. My 53 now sits on a wagoneer frame, so I can't use it to check which hole is the correct one. Thanks! | | | | | Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 506 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 506 | Coach, Assuming the 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton is similar to my 52 Chevy 1/2 ton: There are two holes on top of the frame at the rear. The end hole is for the bed on each side. Hope this helps.

Is the frame really supposed to have holes ? ! | | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 866 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 866 | Thanks 52pu. It appears my kit from TCI for the rear doesn't follow their written instructions for installing it. I had to make some adjustments. The 4 rails of the 4link are too short. Had to send them back to get longer ones made. | | |
