I have not seen this engine, it is information from over the phone.

If I'm right it was originally in a 4000 series truck. 59 4000 and '60-'62 K10, K20, and C40, also with RPO 227 (
58-59) and RPO 223 ('60-'62) in 1/2 through 1 ton 2wd models. Both RPO codes are for HD clutch.

We can then ID the year of the head and block of your non-babbitted rods, insert rod-bearing, high-pressure engine (58-62 235 engine, and maybe later replacement engine). | | |
