| | | | Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 16 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 16 | have a 1957 3600 chevy truck ?? want to drop wheel size and lug pattern down to 5 ??? can I just swap the 5 lug hub for the 6 lug or 8 lug ones or do I have to swap complete axle or are just the spindles interchangeable ????? ,,,,, someone must know ?? ha ha ha maybe not

sure if that is true in 57, but the spindles and axles
are not the same 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton for sure. If this is the route you want to go put a wanted to buy ad on
craigslist- there are a lot of people swapping to
independent front ends who will let their original go
