For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2015 Posts: 34 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2015 Posts: 34 | I'm having issues with the engine of my '41 1/2 ton shutting down for no apparent reason.
I currently have the metal sheathed ignition cable that goes to the coil.
Is there any reason that I can't, or shouldn't, replace this arrangement with automotive primary wire and an on/off toggle switch. I want to retain the stomper starter.
I am not concerned about security.
