I got a great deal on a posi 9" and just got finished cutting and grinding all of the perches and brackets off. As I was looking for new leaf perches I am only finding the modern 2.5" wide variation and not the 1 3/4".

Are there any easy donor leaf packs that bolt in or would require little work? If so, what should I snag while at the junkyard pulling the leaf pack.

Anyone with some Ford 9" experience and possibly some photos to share?

Thanks!

A visit to a place that makes trailers will probably give you what you need. If not buy a piece of 1 3/4" rectangular tubing and make your own. Your 9" has either 3" axle tubes (car) or 3 1/4" (truck
). A 1 3/4 x 4 will let you trim out stock height saddles or you can raise/lower the rear with taller saddles---up to 1.75 x 8. If saddles are on top taller ones raise and visa versa for the bottom.

I got mine from summit racing. They are a 3 inch drop. I think jegs might carry them as well. I believe they are a westin chassis brand.

JC whitney has them for about 12.00.... 1 3/4 perches I bought a pair for my 46 1/2 ton and welded them to a S-10 rear and used my original springs
