What is the best way to lower the rear without causing a harsher ride? I put in lowering blocks and it seem the ride is much stiffer, any suggestions?

I had my springs rebuilt, lowering blocks and installed tube shocks all the way around. Also radial tires, front sway bar, every little bit helps.

Thanks, I put on adjustable shocks on rear, But rebuilding the springs might be the answer, maybe removing a leaf or two, or reversing the eye bushings. Nice truck and great story, something alluring about these art deco beauty queens always makes me smile.

take a couple of leaves out of the springs...it will soften up the ride for you with the lowering blocks......did it on my 46 and it rides fine
