The best I can measure the steering knuckle bore step is 1.100 inches. Where can I locate a concave plug that size or will I have to order a king pin bushing set, just to get the plug?

have one to fit it in their Dorman assortment.

(1.125") If one of them is a little too big, just grind or file the outer edge until it's a close slip fit into the counterbore, then a firm tap with a hammer will lock it into place.

I do this be hitting it with a punch into an appropriate size socket.
