I am ready to take it to a blaster and it has rust in the seam down the middle. I was going to take it apart to get it cleaned but wasn't sure if it is an easy operation to put it back together. Plus it would be easier to haul in 2 pieces.
I know it is riveted down the seam and the supports are bolted in.

You can remove the center molding strip and drizzle POR15 or other rust stopper in the seam between the halves, prior to having it blasted.
If there is ever an issue with rust reoccurring in this seam (not likely), it will be covered by the center strip.
