I am going through restoring my 49 3100 and when I hooked up my turn signal assembly and grounded it out to the steering column it starts to constantly flash. Blinkers work but when I turn the blinkers off to the center position it just keeps flashing. Before I took things apart it was working fine.....
Any help on what I should check would be appreciated.

the pilot light on you signal switch should go to the P post on the flasher.
or a bad flasher

It appears that it is the hazards (so all; both sides, front and rear) are flashing.
The weird thing is that before I took everything apart the blinkers, hazards and turn signal switch worked fine. I didn't mess with anything (that I know of) so I am puzzled as to why all of a sudden it is acting up.
Thank you!

You have all the lights and the grounds to them disconnected and you expect them to work? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 14 TexWis 49 | | TexWis 49 Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 14 | Good point... I will take that advice and wait until I have everything put back together....
Thanks Cletis!
