Also, they said that the 61 hood would not latch closed because the latch mechanism would not line up because of the different mount above the grill. I always thought that these hoods could just be swapped on straight across. Now I'm having to secure the frontend of the hood with bungee straps to I get this thing figured out. The problem is you need the upper latch that originally came with which ever style hood you are using. On the 60-61 the latch pulls forward from the gap under the center. The 62-66 latch pulls from the drivers side in the air intake opening. | | |
