For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2015 Posts: 3 Moderated | | Moderated Joined: May 2015 Posts: 3 | Can anyone help? I'm swapping a 1937 216 to a 1959 235. I want to keep my 216 bell housing so I so I can keep my original starter and break and clutch pedal configuration. My problem is that the 216 bell housing has a bracket that the break and clutch pedal bolts to. The 235 bell housing does not. So the clutch fork for the 235 cannot be used with my original clutch pedal what can I do ? I have read about this type of swap but nowhere did I read about this issue. Has anyone ever had this problem? I've been dreaming about the solution but haven't come up with one yet. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance JZ. | | | | | Joined: May 2013 Posts: 51 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2013 Posts: 51 | I just read something similar I think. Look up "tired of double cluthing" here in big bolts and/or driveline something in there about a bracket on an ad bell housing to keep your pedals and starter might be what your looking for
And welcome to the bolt this is the best Web site ever tons of info and tons of people willing to share there knowledge
