I purchased a 1949 3/4 ton Chevy just about one year ago. The truck spent most of it's life as a farm vehicle in Appomattox, Virginia. Mostly original equipment, but of course needs lots of work. No real experience with antique trucks, but as a boy I assisted my father and my older brother with a 1941 Plymouth business coupe and 1953 MGTD restorations. Post questions in the best forum and you'll get plenty of help. Also watch for other bolters from your area. There are many here from the Va. area.
