Don't have a stove bolt yet but I hope to soon. But I'd look for one while looking for fenders as the 'fit' at the top where they met could well be different, IDNK from experience just a heads up of likely area of concern.
If there was an issue you could easily make your own patch panels and weld them into the 56 if need be.

The truck I'm looking at, that piece you're talking about is in rough shape so it we decided to try the later-style front fenders I wouldn't be worried about having to modify or fabricate that piece. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 | Your welcome but... that doesn't mean Bart isn't right

Quick answer is yes they will fit. but.... you will need 2 fenders inner pannels , a hood , the cross piece behind the grill and a grill . headlite buckets and bezel and maybe a radiator support. I would look for a 58-59 they are around and they look much better than the one headlite ones. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 Sir Searchalot | | Sir Searchalot Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 | Whoa! there partner. The Tri Five Trucks and Cars are THE best looking. Single Frenched headlights. I like the dual also but a bit google eyed on TF trucks.

Guess that's why they make vanilla AND chocolate; everybody has different tastes. (55-7 look pretty good, too).

The single headlight look is growing on me. But If I ever get another it will be 58-59. The dual headlight does look better imo but the wife likes this 56. I get a new project AND the wife is on board? Win-win haha | | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 901 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 901 | Whoa! there partner. I'm going to have to side with bartamos, since I have two of them.
