My running boards are semi-gloss black.

Because they get slippery and you bust your b---, when you step on them. 53 3100 root | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 252 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 252 | I painted mine gloss black to match the truck. They have stood up quite well although, admittedly, they don't get much abuse other that from me climbing in and out. | | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 | Used black bed liner. Looks like the rubber covers that were on most cars of the day. Less slippery and more durable than paint. | | | | Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 163 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 163 | Went with Glossy. What yall think? I've managed to partition off a 8x12 foot section in the corner of the shop, if I ever get the time to finish it. Should be able to paint a cab or box on a dolly in there. dg
