The 1950 3600 is getting painted maroon, and i was going to paint the running boards black. the truck is very glossy should i make the running boards glossy as well?

It's a matter of personal choice.

My running boards are semi-gloss black.

My running boards are painted black rino-liner. Because they get slippery and you bust your b---, when you step on them. 53 3100 root

I painted mine gloss black to match the truck. They have stood up quite well although, admittedly, they don't get much abuse other that from me climbing in and out.

Used black bed liner. Looks like the rubber covers that were on most cars of the day. Less slippery and more durable than paint.

I think that's the way they should have looked when
the truck was delivered in '50.

Looks like you've got a right good spot to paint your parts in.
That your spray booth?? I've managed to partition off a
8x12 foot section in the corner of the shop, if I ever
get the time to finish it. Should be able to paint a
cab or box on a dolly in there.

unfortunately its not my paintbooth. I cant spray paint that well.
