Found a box under seat had a pushrod in it. Doesn't look bent the motor does run and idle little rough so I took off the valve cover to see why the pushrod is under seat. Yup found the rocker arm broken off pushrod side #1 cylinder intake valve. Haven't checked the valve yet.

My question is will a rocker arm from a 1951 216 be the same?
Or what other rocker arms fit the 1952 235?

50-53 the 216 and 235 rocker arms look to be different;

235's blocks are 1/8" taller, so the pushrods are different.

I just reread your post and I see it is a rocker you are looking for.
1950-58 235 rockers interchange. 1959-62 can be used with a slight modification.
