For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2014 Posts: 15 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2014 Posts: 15 | I am trying to find stake pockets for my 1951 1 ton chevy truck. Anyone know where I can find them? I need all of them (think I need 8 in total for my long bed). Can I use the ones from the 3/4 ton?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I am assuming you mean the 9' stepside bed for the 3804 model. Starting from the front, the first & second stake pockets are the same as found on the 3/4 ton. The third one is just above the rear fender and is only about 3" deep (not available as far as I know). The fourth (and last) one is the same as used on the 3/4 ton and supports the tailgate. These are available from most of the vendors (except the short one). Hope this helps. Good luck with you truck. Tom

I'd have to go look at my truck again to be sure, but I recall it being real plain, nothing fancy like the tall stake pockets are. | | |
