I am trying to find stake pockets for my 1951 1 ton chevy truck. Anyone know where I can find them? I need all of them (think I need 8 in total for my long bed). Can I use the ones from the 3/4 ton?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

J_Wade,

I am assuming you mean the 9' stepside bed for the 3804 model.
Starting from the front, the first & second stake pockets are the same as found on the 3/4 ton. The third one is just above the rear fender and is only about 3" deep (not available as far as I know). The fourth (and last) one is the same as used on the 3/4 ton and supports the tailgate. These are available from most of the vendors (except the short one). Hope this helps.
Good luck with you truck. Tom

Mar-K sells them, about fifty bucks each. Any reason you
couldn't cut the short ones from a couple of full length ones?

The short ones are nothing fancy. Measure the old ones and cut out and bend new ones from flat 16 ga sheet metal.

Didn't the center have the flare up into the bed side like the
others Grigg? (your link to Webshots is dead you know.)

yes, webshots died few years ago and I'm not chasing every link. The links in my signature do work.

I'd have to go look at my truck again to be sure, but I recall it being real plain, nothing fancy like the tall stake pockets are.
