hi all, I've only been in here a few times to look around, but never actually had a question, until now.....


my '69 has a good working original AM radio but the speaker has seen better days. I would like to try and replace the speaker but A: I have no idea where to get an original style speaker and B: how do I remove the old speaker.


I do know the radio works fine because I wired up another speaker out of a newer F^*D truck that does work quite well, but it looks awful with the speaker wires hanging out of the glovebox with the speaker stuck to the dash by the magnet,

Well I don't have a 69 truck but just about any common speaker that will fit, will do. Do you want to know where the speaker is or how to get it out?

well I found the speaker, but I have no idea how to remove it
