My truck has been on the road for just on 12 months and I have now done 18,000Klm or 11,250 miles in it and have LOVED every minute of it.
Have won a few awards too which is always a bonus.

I have some on my 1st'47 off a school bus. If they are significantly wider they might be some special military larger truck, most came with 7x 20" tires.

'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

I do not know if the COE front fenders are wider, but the 1954 2-ton GMC COE front fenders are completely different from the 1/2-1 ton truck fenders.
