I thought the dust caps over the front wheel bearings would just pop off with my channel locks. Well, they're being stubborn. The shop manual just states "take them off." It should be super simple. So, what am I missing?
I have a 2nd series 1947 1.5 ton.

First welcome to Stovebolt! A lot of GREAT people with A BUNCH of GOOD information! No stupid questions....just dumb looks. On those pesky front wheel dust caps, I would spray them down with a rust penetrate like PB Blaster and let set overnight.....or at least for a couple of hours. Then get a pair of channel lock pliers and wiggle them back and forth from side to side and they should come loose.
