I'm trying to guage interest to determine whether or not we want to have a dedicated Stovebolt parking area.
So far, it just doesn't seem like there's much Stovebolt interest in attending the ATHS National Show this year. And it's pretty much in our back yard. Before I jump to any conclusions about that, I'd like to hear from anyone who has an opinion -- either here in the open or via PM.
Thanks, John

I'm just trying to get through 3 or 4 full weeks and weekends coming up and then we'll still have a few weeks to make plans before the show.

It being so close this year is quite an opportunity, one I won't miss.
I've been to all but one of them in the past dozen years I think, its always a good time.

More input/data to add to the mix should the ATHS National Leadership ever feel moved to hear from us and why we don't exactly attend in droves ... "Pushing a rope" comes to mind ...
Thanks for trying.
Mike R -- Wow... So we only have ONE confirmed pure Stovebolter (Grigg) attending. The rest of the list (including me) are B-W crossovers.

The made good time to PA with decent weather conditions. John reported last night that they were still getting parking arrangements and the "throughway" worked out. Stovebolt HQ was set up and quite a few of the big trucks had already arrived. I imagine he'll have more to tell at the end of today. Our local chapter of ATHS is helping with this and Mike B(oteler) is in charge of parking. Man, that is a big job! Hope they continue to have nice breezy weather.

Yes, look for John with the flag and pop up tent. Last we met with Mike B, the parking was still being determined. They were trying hard to get everyone to park together who wanted that. It will be good to see the pix of the '48.

A lot of trucks have been coming in and parking will start getting tight today and tomorrow. By saturday... You might see us on the gate or at the "junction" but hopefully we will not be working Saturday.
There is a lot of trucks here. This is shaping up to be a big show... maybe more than a 1000 trucks.
