I found a '66 1-ton for sale that looks good. Are the 1-ton cabs the same as the 1/2 and 3/4-ton cabs?

I am also wondering if any of the suspension/brake/chassis parts are usable on a '59 3/4-ton. Whaddya think?

Through the years, GM has kept the same cab on the 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks the same in each year.

Suspension and brake parts from a 66 1 ton to a 59 3/4 ton? I doubt it, buy you need to look in a part interchange manual to be sure.

Ah, American Classics has one... Interchange manual, 1/2 to 1 ton, Chevy and GMC - LIT-48 1946-65

The first vendor I've been to so far that has it listed on it's site...

Rats. I just ordered stuff from them yesterday. smile

Heya Fred T

The interchange manuals... do most of the vendors have them, or only a few or... what/where/how do I get one?

I am thinking that would be handy to have for my '65...

I guess for pop's '53 it'd be a different manual...

thanks,

-W
