Most of these trucks are missing it as it wears out fairly quickly from abrasion .

I only have one door on right now. Unfortunately its the passenger door. Best thing I have found is to spray a LITTLE WD40. It still took me several retries to get it on. But I think it is worth it.

Not only does it stop the wind from coming through but the interior looks is topped off perfectly with this. The only trick is if you have a spotlight, you need to cut into the windlace a lot. Otherwise, you'll go to bed that night with a smile on your face.

Do not use petroleum products on rubber unless you want to do the job again soon. I tried liquid dish soap with little success; it's too tight a channel with tight bends and the soap dried before I got the windlace all the way in. I bought a can of spray silicone and dosed the tracks repeatedly as I slid the windlace in; it slid into place with minimal effort.  | | | | | Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 13 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 13 | Took some pitures, have to try in morning again.

RB's and truck shop. RB's didn't bring their rolling chassic, wanted to check it out. I think thats the way I'm going to go. This will save me a lot of time and running for parts. Anyone out there done this yet?? | | |
