before starts turning wheels. this is with driveline
disconnected.i have 3 trucks they all do this.
1 is a 1958 3/4 ton other 2 1959 1/2 ton
is this normal ??

Pull the cover off the rear & see were it is comeing from. It probably has some sloppy spider gears. They can be replaced with out pulling the 3rd member out on the 1/2 tons.
