I have a gasket on it but it still leaks. No rusted hole or anything like that. Does anybody have that link or remember what to do? As always, thanks. I am guessing you checked the obvious , the drain hole and tube .
How well is it seated , it is possible that it is slightly twisted . You may put something on the rim [ grease / lipstick etc]of the vent and close it tight , open it back up and see if it transfers all the way around

Does your's have one? Should it?
....and what type of material is your gasket? Had a "rubber" one that leaked because it wasn't soft enough for the vent to seal. I changed to a cork gasket and problem solved as the vent would "sink" done in it and seal it off tight....and my 37 had a spring on it to keep it tight. I see that Classic Parts sells both a rubber one or a foam one. Has anyone used both and can say which they prefer? I also note that the new bolts that are being used to secure the hinges are fairly small and it looks like they should be larger based on the holes. Does anyone have an original to tell me the correct size?
