Where the originals curve to the form of the cab the new steel ones are straight and do not match up correctly. I was going to use them on my 41 but went with the fiberglass which match nicely. Dave

Smooth running boards are available. Original running boards can be pricy on Ebay and the short cut-off style for the bigger trucks seem to be more available. It will take some patience and a cash outlay. It seems that people that use the fiberglass repro's like them for what they are.

The long bed running boards are approximately 96" long. Don't do as I did and receive a long bed set when I needed a short bed board. No problem selling them though... | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,440 Extreme Gabster | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,440 | All parts offers, requests, etc. must be done in the swap meet.
