Bought this truck as a daily driver, and used it as such for 3 years.
Addded some modern comforts like front disk brakes and a new master cylinder. Regeared the rear end for a more enjoyable ride on the highway. Kept the 235/3 on the tree combo for nostalgic reasons, and because its cool!
Repainted in tuxedo scheme, redid seat, and updated all the shiny bits. Went with original Firestone Wide Whites from coker....only thing not original on truck is steering wheel and killer sound system.
Went with custom kick panels with 4 inch speakers, a 10 in sub behind the seat, pwerd by a four channell amp, that is bridged for maximum power. This system produces nice clean highs and deep lows. The small cabin provides the perfect environment for this system.
Only thing pending is bed wood. Strips are painted, wood has been ordered, just need to set aside a weekend and get it done. ALso want to add stake bed and a 4-way flasher to complete project. A blast to drive, and love taking her out to any local shows.
