Have a '61 261 w/ stock Rochester carb that's going in a '37 pass car w/ manual choke and throttle controls. I have 2 types of bell cranks: one is a single piece bent metal, and the other is a 2 piece cast metal. There are 2 threaded holes in the block, one behind the exhaust and the other about 3" from it toward the cab for the bell crank shaft to thread into. Don't know which one to use or how to fit up the linkages and return springs. Would appreciate a pic or two showing this installation. As always, thanks in advance

Use the post that works with the rod from your pedal to the bell-crank on the post. If you have two lengths of rods from pedal to bell-crank, use the rod (and hole in the block) that is easier to connect to your carburetor.
