Anyone seen this before? Perhaps it came from there. Other than that it's a stuck intake valve? Sounds serious. I would clean it, refill oil and run it with the valve cover off like your setting the rockers. I bet you see a rocker not moving.

You need to find out where the oil is, did it leak from valve cover onto the intake, or did it come from the vent pipe into the air filter housing.
Was the engine over full of oil?
Is it over full now ? or smell of fuel?
Does the engine miss or stumble?

You're probably going to find excessive blowby on at least one cylinder.

Yes, the rings were destroyed on that cylinder, after finding a few more issues I decided to let my mechanic put in a reman. engine, runs great but I am but deep $$$$ into this truck. | | |
