Sent my old sashes out for install onto new smoked glass for my 52 Chevy 1/2 ton. Received them back with new glass passenger side up and running. Drivers side will only roll down halfway. Looking at the channel and it is being gouged by the sash, "what is the measurement" on each end of the sash and how can I move this glass the other direction approx. 1/8". Was thinking maybe some heat or maybe you guys or girls have experienced this problem. I am open to all suggestions, thanks HUGH

I don't know what you mean by "sash".

It's the metal bar that holds your side window, it rides the roller to make the window go up and down, thanks HUGH

I have a question, is there a minimum or maximum side to side mesurement when the replacement side glass is re-attached to the metal channel at the bottom. Thanks Hugh

The answer to the question is yes, there is a maximum/minimum measurement side to side. I heated up the sash with a real heat gun and I moved the sash to the left side 1/8" and that sash was no longer gouging the felt channel on the vent glass. The window roles up/down like a champ. Thanks HUGH
