Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 185 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 185 | Sent my old sashes out for install onto new smoked glass for my 52 Chevy 1/2 ton. Received them back with new glass passenger side up and running. Drivers side will only roll down halfway. Looking at the channel and it is being gouged by the sash, "what is the measurement" on each end of the sash and how can I move this glass the other direction approx. 1/8". Was thinking maybe some heat or maybe you guys or girls have experienced this problem. I am open to all suggestions, thanks HUGH | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,299 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,299 | I don't know what you mean by "sash". Carl

Thanks Hugh | | | | | Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 185 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 185 | The answer to the question is yes, there is a maximum/minimum measurement side to side. I heated up the sash with a real heat gun and I moved the sash to the left side 1/8" and that sash was no longer gouging the felt channel on the vent glass. The window roles up/down like a champ.
