Prior to restoration, the nose piece on my hood (and the grill too) was slightly "leaning" to the driver's side. Now that the grill is restored and a new (off junker) "nose" piece on truck, when looking at the truck there is a gap between the "wing" off the hood and the nose. Any thoughts? New hood hinge? Brace up hood hinge?

Didn't happen on mine but think there is only a few adjustments. I would check the shims under the radiator mount. You may gain some movement/adjustment there. Also on the V piece connected to radiator and firewall you may have some adjustment in and out. Hope this helps. Have fun and good luck

Thanks. Nose piece now looks straight. Left hood side tucks against it nicely. Right side has 1/4 inch gap. I'll try adjusting back near firewall.
