Someone with experience in this area will chime in, I'm quite sure. Is your rusted out area very large? If not, you may be able to fabricate your own patch panel and weld it in. It would be quite hard to form if the rust is in areas with curves or the reinforcing ribs. Regards, Wannabe

I do not know if all vendors sell the panels from the same manufacture, but Chevy Duty sells TriPlus and Auto Concept parts (I may not have the names exact, I am going off of memory). Anyway, here is a picture frm July 2003 aftet I installed the panels. Its not a direct shot of the panels, but its the only picture I have that shows them. [img] http://aricv.0catch.com/images/Cab7_19.jpg[/img] These panels extend slightly past the front of the seat base (about 1"). They seem to fit decently, but took a little work to get them in.

The older style has a front left floor board, a front right floor board and a toeboard that goes right across. A newer product has the bottom half of the right side of the toe board and floor combined ( complete with the angle) and one for the left side. These seem to be made from a thinner gauge than the older style. I am using the older style because I like the heavier gauge better. | | |
