"converting" what? "front end" covers a lot of territory .... sounds like you may need to search the HiPo forum

There are kits for tapered roller bearings, brakes and steering. If you want to switch from leaf to coil/bags. I'm out.

What conversion kits are out there to replace the whole front end between the wheels<---for suspension brakes and all; like the mustang2 kit. Wanting the good, the bad, the ugly on kits

I don't think there's any "bolt in" kits for that, they all pretty much are either going to need welded in, or require some sort of frame modifications to work. I will tell you, just from my experiences with them, stay away from anything Mustang 2 based. The Mustang 2 frontend is way too light to even be considered for any full size truck, like sending a boy to do a mans job, as Jerry would put it. If you do use a kit, find one that uses either GM Metric chassis (A and G body '78-'87, F body '78-'81) or C4 Corvette ('84-'96) parts. Or even better, if you don't mind a little fabrication, the entire C4 Corvette suspension crossmember can be had for less that what any of the conversion kits cost, and it's better parts. A crossmember from the '98-'12 Crown Victoria would also be a viable option. A '73-'87 C10 crossmember could also be used if you want to keep truck rated parts, but it will be a little wide.

everyday driving.I hasn't been on the road in 2yrs.I am either gonna start enjoying it or I am gonna get rid of it.So I bought a 3spd manual trans wOD.The truck is totally stock.so you know it looks/is high in front.

Rebuild the stock springs and add the polyvinyl leaf liners and good set of gas shocks. You would be surprised at how well they really do ride and handle.

I think a nice rebuild with modern components is the way to go. My 65 c10 rides better than my 04 dodge

You mean Sid's ? I've never used them personally, but have never heard a bad thing about them either. If I were to lower my truck, that's the way I would go.

I rebuilt the stock front suspension, brakes, added a front sway bar, pulled one leaf out of the front and installed new 3 inch lowering springs on the rear of my '56 short box. Also added radial tires and tapered roller bearings. It rides and steers better than new.
