Since my truck was BACKED into my garage and up on jack stands, I cut and welded my exhaust so it pointed forward. Less exhaust fumes go into the garage that way.

Anyway, I pulled my 65 C10 short step off the stands and drove it today for the first time ever with my freshened up 250ci and brand new rebuilt Camaro T5 transmission. Lot's of fun.
Here's the VIDEO.

Most excellent. I can tell you had a blast. Neighbors probably think you are insane but we get it.

John,
You must not be a well informed individual. First off, the name "Hooligan" is a compliment in the South! Second, We all drive our trucks without doors down here in South Carolina. That's just how it's done. LOL!

When I was teaching a Community Education body shop class, the commander of the Nashville Tennessee SWAT team drove a Pontiac Firebird in about that shape 10 miles across town every Wednesday night to my shop to work on it. "Who's gonna arrest me- - - -I'll shoot 'em!"

Hey there Woog! So far the T5 has been performing flawlessly. With NO doors, windshield, lights, speedometer, horn, license plates or E-brake I figured 25MPH would be easier to explain to the police should they take an interest, so I barely even touched 3rd gear. It does shift well in all gears while up on the jack stands however.

I sent you a PM.
