For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Are there original options or is everything aftermarket? | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | No factory option I'm aware of for trucks. Anything out there would be aftermarket. You can find original aftermarket hazard flasher setups on ebay, but they tend to be very expensive. Most of them also do not list as being compatible with trucks before 1960. I don't recall the exact sit, but I did find one that showed how to make your own, if you're not adverse to doing some fabrication.

The hazard lights set up is at bottom of the page. http://www.how-to-build-hotrods.com/turn-signals.html | | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 38 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 38 | | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Signal-Stat Flarestat 105 switches were offered by GM as a dealer added accessory. Those are one of the style of flashers I saw on Ebay. Even used ones are running a bit on the high side, average starting bids are $35-45. NOS are almost always $150 or more.
