Anyone know if black was the only color for 3100 1950 pickup?
Thanks for your help.

No-----That evasive purple/gray color was the only color for a
'50, 3100 pickup steering wheel, mast jacket and 3sp. shifter.

Really Denny ? I would have never guessed that. My old worn steering wheel looks brown, so my rebop is brown. Oh well. Not a true restoration anyway. smile

The original steering color is hard to describe. I have a spectacular original one will ALL of its paint intact. I would call it lavender/brown. (Maybe brown and purple mixed with gray would yield Denney's description.) Regardless, Rustoleum 7754 is as good of a match as you are likely to find.

Well I guess that means that I no longer need to fix anymore cracks. They seem to be as-original by your pictures. smile
