Hey fellow Stovebolters,
Im in a bit of bind, and need some help. Ive got my grandads 54 suburban, and like most gals her age, she's not running. I have her stored at a family members autobody shop in Chino...long story short, they're tired of it being there (not running) and they want me to get it out.
I live in Corona at an apartment complex, that has a fit if a car is on property and not running. SO I cannot park it here,
SO here is my question,
Does anyone know of any place I can use to store her at, I know the standard answer is an RV storage yard, but I dont know of any around that are reputable, and I'm looking for suggestions.

Facepalm. Nothing is ever simple.

Will it fit in a mini storage unit? I had inquired about storing a vehicle at a few mini storages locally (Houston, TX area) and the biggest hang-up for me was they wanted no gasoline in the car (mine runs, wasn't gonna be convenient, or I would have to lie). With yours not currently running, there's little need to keep gas in it. I had found a cheaper mom & pops run storage that rented me a space for $100/mo, and I used it to store other stuff for several months. I don't remember the size, but it should've been big enough to slide a decent sized vehicle in. 10' x 20' maybe?

I think the dimensions of it are like 16.54' long by 6' wide.

Back on topic.. This may sound crazy but depending on how long you need to store it ask a local sheriff if you can park it in the "compound" for a month or two and you'll make a donation to one of their favorite charities.....that gets them every time.

Found a place to park it at and a flatbed temporarily.
Now...if my home loan goes thru..faster...
