I have a 53 & 54 panel.53 is one I am building.Not too bad shape. Just bought 54 for back doors. Was going to swap dash but to much work. I bought a good used 53 dash from RPM Motorsports. It is in the mail as we speak. I need small cowl pieces maybe a couple of spots in floor area. Have just started to take apart. I know this won't be liked by many but putting it on a shortened 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 frame with a lift. I have always liked AD style and have been a 4x4 fan for a long time. Don't plan on much off-roading just want something unique that I can enjoy and drive. Yes the site covers approx. 1916-1972 and the forum is Panels and burbs. I have experience in TF so was wondering what year so I could possibly help. Was being facetious and keeping it light. Rock, there are many repair panels available for AD at Classic Parts of America, to name one vendor (10% off sale on now). Sounds like a neat project. The AD people who have repaired those areas will chime in by-and-by.

As far as cab patch panels go, they are basically the same as the pickup. The front parts are all basically the same. A lot of vendors sale patch panels, and other stuff, that is bought from the vendor having them re-popped. I know that a couple years ago American Classic was buying some cowl pieces from JimCarter....and so the story goes. Shop around and as mentioned, as you get toward the rear Stanley may be the best resource. Good luck. | | |
